Many weeks now Budweiser has been showing a wonderful commercial called Coming Home. Take a look http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFccEZXmBOs&feature=player_detailpage . In this commercial is a soldier coming home to his friends and family. Through a long travel he comes home to find all the lights out at what could only be described as a farm like ranch home. Welcome Home banner hangs in the barn as he opens it up to well wishers surprising him with of course Beer! I'll make it a bet that someone in charge of making this commercial had a love one overseas. Also Greg Sovick the actor who plays the soldier is a real soldier, way to go Budweiser. I Think Budweiser did a wonderful job with this commercial and look forward to many more commercials with Greg Sovick. Lets hope there is a follow up to this commercial. Is he home for good?, Is his girlfriend going to say yes to marriage? Who is going to clean up the Barn after they are done? Does he send back Budweiser to his fellow solders still deployed? Is that the barn the famous Clidesdale stay in? I want to know, let me know if you do.
So far Budweisers "Coming Home" commercial has been aired as a full minute advertisement. As you can imagine that makes it only airable during long intervals during sporting events or TV shows like Saterday Night Live which it is has been aired during. A shorter version can be seen now during MLB games on many networks. This shorter version is still well done because of the directors insite into inserting a split screen format for this commercial. Kind of makes a 30 second commercial turn into a full minute long. Many want to see the commercial twice and watch only one side at a time, that way they don't miss anything. I still want to see more of this commercial, and a follow up should be made as I have said. I want to know, let me know if you do.
